摘要 | The structure of Al-Mn-Ni-Ti alloy powders has been studied by transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffraction. Two cubic phases are found and determined. One phase has a BCC lattice with alpha = 0.8905 nm, the other phase belongs to an FCC lattice with alpha = 1.1875 nm. The Al-3(Mn,Ni,Ti) phase, the Al solid solution and an unknown metastable phase are also found in the rapidly solidified sample. After annealing at 800 degrees C for 1 h, the unknown metastable phase transforms into the decagonal quasicrystalline phase and the Al solid solution. |
