摘要 | Oxidation behavior of the NiCrAlY coatings with/without man-made interdiffusion (M-IDZ) layers at 1050 degrees C is investigated. Results indicate that four kinds of the M-IDZs are designed, which are based on the chemical composition of the IDZ, and can be applied between the single crystal superalloy and the NiCrAlY coating. Their additions do not affect the formation and thickening of the alpha-Al2O3 scales, and show excellent oxidation resistance. After oxidation, the thicknesses of the changed superalloys beneath the coatings with M-IDZs are much less than the case of the NiCrAlY coating without M-IDZs, weakening the side effects of the element interdiffusion on the superalloy. At the same time, the existence of the M-IDZs can accelerate the transformation from needlelike sigma and mu phases to P phase. |
